Regula’s and Dieter’s B&B is the most perfect location from the Basel train station. It is situated on a quiet street across from a park within a 10 minute walk from the station. One couldn’t ask for a more beautiful home to stay in filled with a baby grand piano, charming porcelain collections, comfortable beds flanked by lovely antiques and overlooking a green and lush little garden. The breakfast was abundant and presented on a long farmhouse style buffet table with porcelain, silver and glass antique serving pieces. Eggs were offered cooked to order. Regula and Dieter were the most gracious hosts. A+

This place is at a very convenient location to the Basel main train station. A very well maintained building with very rich texture of the history of the community. The owner’s touching and cares are at every corner. The most important is how the owner treated the guest, and their hospitality was unbeatable.

Wir waren rundum zufrieden mit Allem! Das Zimmer und Bad waren schön, gemütlich und sehr sauber. Dazu gab‘ es ein 1A-Frühstück! Regula und ihr Mann waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Wohnung ist optimal gelegen um Basel zu Fuß zu entdecken. - Nahe am Bahnhof und an der Innenstadt.

Gorgeous home, Regula could not be more accommodating or welcoming. Lovely gorgeous spread in the morning, with some delicious cheeses! Two little pugs were very cute as well. Room was comfy and nicely decorated and bathroom was thoughtfully stocked. Regula was very flexible with check-in times and let us leave our bags there for the day as we had a late flight out. 10/10!

Regulas BnB in ihrem liebe- und stilvoll eingerichteten Haus hat uns einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt beschert. Regula ist eine offene und herzliche Gastgeberin, bei der man sich sofort willkommen fühlt. Das Frühstück mit frischem Obst, Müsli, leckerem Brot, Käse und Wurst und dem Gipfeli zum Abschluss lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Altstadt von Basel ist problemlos fußläufig zu erreichen, es gibt Parkmöglichkeiten direkt vor dem Haus (Ticket lösen!) Alles bestens, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Regula's BnB is really THE place to stay when visiting Basel. A beautiful home in a perfect location - close to the centre and within walking distance from the main station, yet so peaceful and quiet. Regula and her husband are the perfect hosts and wonderful, warm people...and their two pugs are hilarious. The attention to detail around the house is wonderful. There is art and something to look at in every corner, books to read and everything you need to have a super comfortable stay. On the one night I was there I ended up not leaving the house to go into town, opting instead to chill out in my room and soak up the relaxing environment in the lovely bath robe provided . Thank you, Regula - I will be back, and for longer next time!

Regula ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft Liebe- und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Obwohl vor der Haustüre die Bahn fährt und wir Tickets bekommen haben, sind wir abends zu Fuss nach Basel in die Altstadt gegangen. Das Frühstück war spitze. Wir waren nur auf der Durchreise, würden aber sofort wieder dort übernachten. Vielen Dank liebe Regula!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a night after driving for hours to reach Switzerland from the Netherlands. It was sooo great! Eine sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtete Unterkunft unweit des Hauptbahnhofs; ruhig und doch zentral und mit sehr hübschem Garten im Hof und Park vor dem Haus. Regula empfing und herzlich und war sehr zuvorkommend und verwöhnte uns mit einem tollen Frühstück. Alles super sauber und gemütlich. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

If you are looking for a place to stay in Basel, I recommend Regula's place. Her home is very beautiful and super clean. The location is great if you are coming by train since it is just a short walk from the train station. My room was large and had an ensuite. Breakfast was included so it felt like luxury. Regula is very friendly and makes you feel very welcome. It was lovely chatting to her while having a cup of tea the afternoon I arrived. Thank you Regula.

I stayed @Regulas place on a short business trip to Basel. The place was located close to train station and my offiice, Could not have picked a better place for my stay. Reaaallllyyyy !!! Nice place with fantastic hosts(s). I was kind of upgraded on my room. It was awesome , like a boutique kind of place where it seems like there is a thought about every detail. Bed comfy, nice toilet - shower with warm water @all times, WiFi worked Well, nice desk that I used for working. But most of all, really kind and helpful hosts and lovely breakfast was served !! Would be my choice of stay in Basel next time.

Freundliches Schmuckkästchen Die Beschreibung hat nicht zu viel versprochen. Wirklich nahe am Bahnhof gelegen. Ruhige, gemütliche uns sehr liebevoll gestaltete Unterkunft und sehr aufmerksame Gastgeberin mit 2 freundlichen Vierpföter(chen). Ich fühlte mich rundherum wohl und gut umsorgt. Kontaktaufnahme war einfach und schnell.

Cosy, chic place in Basel close to the park and central station. Walkable distance to downtown. The house is beautifully decorated, comfortable and clean. Delicious breakfast. Bella esperienza che consiglio. Regula e sua figlia sono molto cordiali e ci hanno accolto con gentilezza. La casa é abitata anche da 2 simpatici e dolcissimi cagnolini. Arredamento curato con gusto e ambiente molto pulito. Posizione centrale vicino ai mezzi pubblici e al centro ma allo stesso tempo zona tranquilla e silenziosa.

The Blumer B&B is conveniently located three blocks from the south Bahnhof (train station) in a quiet, charming neighborhood. We were warmly welcomed by our hostess and her friendly Labrador dog, Rocky. Regula helpfully provided a cup of tea and complimentary tram passes for the duration of our stay, plus helpful suggestions for nearby dining. Our room with bathroom en suite was immaculate and tastefully furnished with antique furniture. Breakfast was ample and varied, including eggs and bacon expertly cooked as requested.

Frau Blumer hat uns von der allerersten Minute an das Gefühl gegeben, zuhause zu sein. Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt und wurden sehr herzlich empfangen, nicht nur von ihr, sondern auch vom süssen und verschmusten Labrador Rocky.
Das B&B ist stilvoll eingerichtet (mit viel Liebe zum Detail), zentral gelegen (inmitten von Grün) und trotzdem ruhig. Das Frühstück hätte nicht besser sein können. Vielfältig, lecker und liebevoll angerichtet.
Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Blick auf den wunderschönen und sehr gepflegten Garten und hätten ihn nur zu gern genutzt, wenn wir leider nicht so früh hätten abreisen müssen. Wir sind nämlich nur eine Nacht geblieben und hätten gerne noch ein paar Stunden länger in Basel verbracht.
Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und möchten uns nochmals für alles bedanken :)

Regula is a charming host who made us feel very welcome at her exquisite Airbnb in Basel. The house is beautiful, elegantly decorated, with comfortable beds and carefully considered furnishings, books and artworks that provided for a perfect stay. Breakfast in the morning was a real delight - fresh fruit, cereal, breads, home made jams, croissants and eggs on request. We couldn't have asked for any more from Regula, she was helpful during the booking process, very welcoming on arrival and helped us with transport around the city. The room itself was comfortable, decorative, clean, had a really nice en-suite bathroom and overlooked the local park. The tram into the city centre and train station was literally 2 mins walk away and we were also able to walk to St Jacobs Park stadium. We would definitely recommend staying here, it was perfect for both location and comfort. We hope to visit again soon!!

We stayed at Regula's B&B just for one night but we have never felt so WELCOME ! Regula is a true host at heart. She made us feel at home .Here B&B is a five star " experience " ! All that was mentioned on the site was a dream come true! The room was decorative to a high standard. Attention to detail ( a pack with information regarding good tourist information and free traffelcard for public transport in town) and most of all clean. The ambiance is very tasteful and done with care. The breakfast a feast " righ like real cappuccino, nuts ,differt kind of cereals ,bread " a full breakfast " she did a fantastic job! If you would like to have a "wellness experience "this is the place to be!

A beautiful house in a great neighbourhood. Very clean and nicely decorated room with eye for detail (some fruit, water and biscuits). Wonderful B&B in a perfect area. Probably the best all round B& I have stayed in. The Host Regula was very welcoming and always available to help. The whole B&B is immaculate and kept to such a high standard. Towels are bed linen are soft and fresh with a choice of pillows also available. The No 16 Tram is at the bottom of the road which takes you to all the main shops, bars and restaurants. With your stay you will also receive a transport pass which saves a lot of money when using the local buses and trams. Finally the breakfast offered a large choice of continental select and Regula would makes eggs fresh depending on your requirements.

Verbunden mit dem CSI Basel, entdeckte ich eine "Perle" in Basel. Nein, ausnahmsweise nicht bei Bucherer, sondern im "Gundeli". Ein Ort, wo wir nicht nur mit einer offenen Tür, sondern auch mit einer Herzlichkeit empfangen wurden.

Quel merveilleux B&B! Tout près de la gare, au calme, dans une magnifique maison. Notre chambre était belle et spacieuse, avec vue sur les jardins. L'accueil de Regula a été des plus chaleureux et le buffet du petit déjeuner délicieux. Nous recommandons vivement cette très bonne adresse!

Die Suche hat sich gelohnt! Gefunden haben wir im Blumers ein sehr stylish eingerichtetes Kleinod, mit der herzlichsten Gastgeberin. Zentral gelegen und doch im grünen liegt das Haus mit der erlesen verspielten Einrichtung, Alice würde es gefallen, mit dem Garten, für Absolom.
Geschlafen haben wir im Chrysanthemen-Zimmer wie Murmeltiere und gefrühstückt wie die Fürsten. Nette Geypräche gehabt mit der Hausherrin.
Ich will auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

WOW, was für eine Oase - mitten in Basel!
diese äusserst schöne und ansprechende Homepage verleitete uns den Aufenthalt in Basel bei Frau Blumer zu verbringen. Vom herzlichen und persönlichen Empfang, über das sehr gemütliche Zimmer und das bombastische Frühstück bis hin zum traumhaften Garten hinter dem Haus hat einfach alles gepasst. Und als "Pünktli auf dem i" konnten wir sogar das Auto kostenlos in der Garage parken. Wir haben es sehr genossen und können es nur weiterempfehlen.

Frau Blumer ist eine herzliche, umsorgende und trotzdem diskrete Gastgeberin, das Zimmer, das wir bewohnten, ist wunderschön, mit vielen aussergewöhnlichen Details, das Bad ästhetisch und praktisch zugleich, genug Abstellflächen, Haken und kuschelweiche Handtücher, der Blick geht ins Grüne, die Lage ist zentral und zu Fuss leicht vom Bahnhof zu erreichen, das Frühstück vielfältig und sehr lecker! Diese Website sagt schon sehr viel über das wundervolle Ambiente in diesem schönen Haus aus. Wenn man hier Gast ist, werden sämtliche Erwartungen in jeder Hinsicht übertroffen! Es ist eine Freude wenn man auf so liebevolle Gastgeber trifft :-) Frau Blumer ist sehr aufmerksam und liest die Wünsche der Gäste förmlich von den Augen ab. Sei es für einen Latte Macciato am Nachmittag, ein Kerzenlicht im lauschigen Garten am Abend oder für Ideen diese Stadt zu einem kulturellen Erlebnis werden zu lassen – einfach grossartig! So many nice details in each room - a very comfortable bed - and a relaxing view at the park just in front of the house! (Gentle ambience) The "BnB" is located very central, and just 5 minutes walk from the railwaystation. It was an unforgettable stay - coming back soon :-)

Stylish, cozy, classy, charming – the place to stay in Basel. Lovely furnished rooms. Antiques and curiosities in every niche and on every shelf. Perfect Location, just a very short walk from the train station. A quiet and homey place. We loved the splendid breakfast next to the living room, which is equipped with a grand piano for those who wants to perform… Regula and Dieter are wonderful hosts.

Regula's house is outstandigly beautiful and personal, each detail well thought of. The house faces the park to the front and its own beautiful garden to the back, and it lies very close to the train station and old town but in a quiet, safe and pretty residential area. The room we stayed in opens to the park, and Regula carefully furnished it with several antique pieces that give it a lot of charm. The dinning room as well: everything from the cutlery to the tables, chandeliers and tea pots make up a beautiful collection of objects. Breakfast is varried: fresh season fruit, cheese, hams, jams, oats, bread. Rosie and Rocky are Regula's friendly pug and labrador, who readily make visitors feel at home. All in all, when and if in Basel, do stay at Regula's: it will make you love, understand and enjoy the city even more!
